OUR FOUNDER

Sarvamangala Chavali

“We think we were doing something right. I just went with it and learnt on the job.”

With a quiet sense of pride and happiness, our founder reflects on the journey so far. “I think we are doing something right.” At the heart of this journey is a simple intention to make handlooms accessible to everyone.

Coming from a middle class background where designer clothing was never easily affordable, it became a conscious choice to create products that are both beautiful and reasonably priced. “We never had the kind of money to buy designer clothes, so it was important for me to ensure that what we offer does not become out of reach for most people,” she shares.

Our Philosophy

Ensuring high quality and a meaningful customer experience is a part of who we are. We believe in living a beautiful and fulfilling life, and this belief reflects in everything we create.

Our collections are thoughtfully designed to bring together elegance, affordability, and purpose. By offering quality products at accessible prices, we have built a sustainable model that benefits artisans, customers, and the environment.

For us, this balance of passion and purpose is our Ikigai, the reason behind everything we do at Anagha.

Preserving Tradition

We carefully handpick and source authentic handloom fabrics, ensuring that every piece carries the essence of tradition and craftsmanship.

Delivering Quality

Each fabric is thoroughly checked to ensure that what reaches you meets the highest standards of quality.

Building Community

We are committed to creating a strong and sustainable community of artisans, helping them grow, thrive, and continue their craft with pride.

Mission Handloom

What makes us different is our focus. We work only with handloom fabrics.

Anagha is known among our customers as a true handloom haven, appreciated for preserving heritage and celebrating the artistry of traditional craftsmanship. Every piece reflects the skill of our weavers and the richness of time honored techniques.

Handlooms provide livelihoods to millions of artisans, yet this tradition is slowly fading. Through our work, we aim to support and revive this craft by promoting handloom textiles in their purest form and standing by the weaving community.
